When I have a challenging week, I always look to exercise, nature and gardening. My garden is a mini oasis; gardening a powerful respite.
These are cleomes, also called spider flowers. Pink, lavender and white, they have tall spires and self seed. I have them supported with a cage in the back garden and they add a lot of color against the dappled white willow.
Above are long white spires of the lupines. I have divided my garden with the waterfall so the top half has all white flowers. It’s my moon garden; when there is a full moon, the flowers appear to glow in the darkness.
